What is the difference between Network Marketing and Multi-Level Marketing?

I thought they were essentially the same only that the term “MLM” was burned out so it was repackaged at network Marketing. I recently was lead to a site that proclaimed it was not MLM but when I finally got down to the meat they began speaking of their network Marketing concept. So What is the difference?

There are many that will argue the difference with so many twists on why.
The bottom line is they are one in the same and more similar than not. Either way you choose to call it, the marketing is the same and requires study of the industries to build a successful business.
