Love it. Thanks Scott. I’ve always broken up the “solicitation” from the prospecting though. When I’m out there, ALL I’m looking for is a contact. I almost never discuss the business or what I do. I normally make the “approach” by phone later. I don’t know exactly what you train on, but so far computer or online prospecting (except for the occasional Webinar) doesn’t seem to work for me. Maybe because we have to invite specific folks only to the Webinar and can’t blanket invite.

Wow I remember those days trying to talk people into my business. I never felt comfortable but like you I thought if I followed the directions of my sponsors it would work and I just needed to be willing to learn. What I have learned that doing anything that does feel right can’t be right and that applies to business as much as my personal life. I love attraction marketing because I don’t like chasing people and I’ve learned it isn’t necessary to be successful.

WHOA that is a word you don’t hear used and that is what we were trained to do in the early years and it was not fun – there were so many NO’s – thank goodness we have better training that now does the opposite. Great points !! ( yuk and can we not use that word again – wink )
