A very important question people often ask me regarding my new system is:
“Devon…will your system automatically generate leads?”
The fact that I get asked this question so often tells me a lot about the mindset/understanding of individuals.
You see,
People in M1M (in my opinion) are too focused on leads. The selling of “Home Biz Opp” leads is a Multi-Mi11ion dollar business
But let me ask you this:
Is it the LEAD you’re looking for…or the SALE?
When I tell people that I have an “automated system” they often assume that I have a way to generate leads for them.
Technically I guess this is true but in reality its only 1/2 true.
Understanding Internet Marketing as well as I do I know and value the importance of lead generation.
I have the ability to create leads virtually on demand.
So…what if I taught you how to generate leads for yourself?
Truth be told, even to teach you everything I know about lead generation would take a very long time – NOT very efficient.
What if I just sold you the leads (like so many others)?
Well, then you would still have to “sell” them on your opportunity and follow up with them and all of that other non-fun stuff.
You can buy all the leads in the world or generate them for yourself if you know how…but the fact still remains that once you’ve got the leads you’re going to have to sell them on your opportunity.
I could sell a batch of 100 of the same leads to 20 different people and maybe 2 or 3 would actually call/email/contact the leads.
So…what’s my point in telling you all of this?
The point is that an AUTOMATED SYSTEM should do the SELLING as well.
The idea here is that a SYSTEM should take people through the ENTIRE process
Exposing –> Pre-Qualification/Lead Gen –> and Sales!
Remember the question I asked you earlier…are you looking for the lead, or are you looking for the sale?
Please understand that I’m not downing lead generation, I MORE than understand the importance of it. But most people don’t, most people never stay in touch with their leads.
If you are a Marketer… then I highly suggest you get really good at generating leads for yourself. And as time goes on I will gladly point you in the right direction and give you resources on how to learn how to generate a massive number of leads for yourself in any niche market!
But the point of “Automated System” is not to help you get leads but rather to make sales so that your downline grows on auto-pilot
In my opinion, that’s what an automated system is supposed to be.

What is a free way to get good sales leads for selling cars.?
I am fairly new in the car sales business, a few months. Does anyone know of a good way to get free sales leads, or even some that I have to pay for. But I am looking for real leads.

Kinda gruesome but go to the library and get 15-30 day old copies of newspapers and check the obit's. Wives generally sell off or trade the husbands car for something they really want. I had a saleman that made a career of doing that. Sales is good paying hard work and the WORST paying easy work. I don't know of any lead companies that would deal in something besides a promotion based sale for an entire dealership and those start at 5.000 dollars.

The classifieds. Call everyone selling their car, most of them are looking for a new one and that's why they are selling it. The best part is, you already know what they want for their trade, just leave plenty of room for an overtrade when you work the deal.

If you are at a franchise dealer, gather up past deals of salespeople that no longer work there (orphan owners). Call each one, introduce yourself, and explain that you are new to the dealership and have been placed in charge of their account. Get all updated customer info and add them to your master list. Your sales manager should have no problem helping you with questions to ask the customer if you don't know how to handle this type of situation. Be sure to send followup letter and business cards thanking them for their time on the phone.
You can get 300 contact opportunities MINIMUM using this method. How you handle each phone call will determine how many solid leads are generated.
